It was dark when we finally got in the woods. We slept kinda' out in the open, but we were safe. This mornin' Brett found- out of many- a dead redwood trunk. It either is, or was someone's home. (I'm sure it was just used as a smoke out place. When we first entered, there was nothing but an ashtray inside) It's ******* huge! & there's a small piece of (what looks like) driftwood covering a small opening to enter it by. We're gonna' scope it out tonight from about 6 to 8 or so.
It's afternoon sometime & we're back in the redwoods w/our **** & some food. Brett's goin' down to check out the tree, 'cause I saw a sweater by it (that's gone now) & heard some noises when I went to the bathroom. On my way up, this little boy asked if I wanted to play guns & Indians or somethin' (cowboys & Indians maybe). & when I told him that I had to meet a friend, but that I'd think about it (after he just wouldn't leave me alone) he told me "Okay. But we're gonna' start in 10 minutes." & "You don't know what yr missin' out on. You have no idea." This little like, 7 or 8 yr old. Anyway- we did some **** today. Tried to get a hold of Mariah & went to her house- hopin' to get some weed, but she wasn't there. So we chill at the University for a while. They're havin' this anti-hate thing (this town has pretty much brought us back to the 60's, 70's) & we get free chips, cookies, pop & we heat up some soup I bought in their food area. (Where we also got free soy milk) After that, we start on our way to the redwoods & meet a girl named Cassie. We sit w/her in the woods & she smokes 3 or 4 good bowls w/us while we talk. We tell her what we're doin' & she talks comfortably about what she's doin' & would like to do. Finish a semester & sail to either Hawaii, New Zealand, or South America & work on an organic farm & live there. She gave us hugs & was real nice. She came from NY & just loved it here. In hippie ville-haha.
Sitting in the redwoods w/the sun on me from a beam & lookin' up at the sparklin' green of the redwoods that when lookin' at 'em, force you to strain yr neck the same way you do when you look up at a tall-*** building. We just ate an early supper or late lunch: split pea, tomato, onion sandwiches & 2 big organic carrots. Brett went to get some more water & I'm sittin' by our ****, scopin' out the tree, seein' if anyone enters. It's beautiful in here- the big, old-*** stumps make some awesome-lookin' nooks sometimes. I think I'm gonna' read my book some more.
Crisy, this was very interesting to read. I am glad to have read it. You really have done some awesome things. Continue to live life and live for God. Love You Bunches. Mom
