It's morning & I guess while I was goin' to the bathroom, Augustino stopped by & said he'll be back at 11:00 & to wait for him, 'cause he'll come w/& tell us if the boat's worth it & find a slip too maybe?
Well today I bought a $15,000 sailboat for a thousand bucks. Crazy. My mind's a mess. Augustino came, saw the boat, smiled right away & told us to do it. (I had prayed the night before, asking the Lord if He could tell us through Augustino, if we should get the boat. It was a confusing time & I thought an easy way for the Lord to show me would be through another person, because I myself didn't really know what was right. As soon as Augustino saw the boat, he smiled big & I knew right away we would get the boat.) Got the cash, came back & talked to Don w/Augustino. Went to the bank w/Don & got the title & made a stupid contract, which we shouldn't have done. We should've listened to Augustino. Went to the DMV to get the title transferred, but couldn't do it because the date on the contract, for us to have possession, is on the 1st. So now we have to wait until Mon., to talk to Don & see if he'll come w/us to the DMV & do what we gotta' do. Then we have to clean it out & up quick, because: we can't get insurance w/out the title in my name; we can't get a slip for the boat w/out insurance, & someone has to look at the boat (has to be clean) for them to accept it in the slip. It's a mess I didn't expect. & now Augustino's tellin' us how (very) expensive engines are, instead of talkin' 'bout towin' us somewhere (like he had said he could do). So, if he can't just tow us somewhere, he'll have to buy the boat from us. Because we can't afford an inboard motor. We need to see if we can get an outboard.
-can't get an outboard- waste of money & it'd ruin the boat-
