Tue. 10-22-02

Well, it's after 6:00pm & we haven't eaten yet today- but Don just ordered us a large pizza! We woke up this mornin' & did laundry & Brett swam in the pool. Then we cleaned the whole outside of the boat. An EXTREME job! Augustino stopped by & took some "before" pictures. Then Brett & I biked to Tobacco Traders to see if I could get the job. I left my name & Don's #. The woman seemed very nice & she knows it's Aug. that told me about it. She's givin' my name & # to the boss tomorrow. We came back & Brett & Don brought some more stuff (from the outside of the boat) to the storage space. & I FINALLY called SOMEONE! My GRAM! I guess everyone's been really worried, so I told her everything that's been goin' on. Then I called my mom. I guess she had pneumonia, but she's better now. She was SO happy to hear from me!-Oh, pizza's here, I gotta' stop writin' for a minute.- Delicious veggie pizza!! Anyway, um, my mom was happy for me! She'll wire me the money when I need it & she might pay for the slip. She was SO glad to hear from me! She said don't worry about anything & she's gonna' pray for us & if it doesn't work out, it's okay, I'll learn a lesson. Um, tomorrow we're gonna' work on getting insurance & finding a slip. I'm gonna' read my book now for a while.
